“That which you most need will be found where you least want to look.” - Carl Jung
The thought to start this blog sparked on the train running through the scenic Swiss valley in Graubuenden. My husband and I were on the way to see his grandparents, and we talked about how he doesn't want to go back to work and that he wants to stay longer to spend more time with his family. We hate the idea of wasting time doing things that are meaningless and we don't take anything good out of it except that sum of money that landed in the bank at the end of the month.
I used to suffer the same predicament as he does, but now I can pretty much say I'm off that hook. Then I had this idea that it was about time I should try to monetize some of the skills I've acquired so far in life. It's not a meaningful journey for just one of us to have this luxury of freedom in a vast margin of time to explore the realm of inner work; if I am able to do it, my husband should also be in this. It's no point for one person to be free to grow but the other one is still trapped in the world's rat race because, in the end, we are connected in our souls. To me, marriage is a sacred union. We share all of what we have inside and out - together.
We need to be financially independent, which means having absolute freedom of our time and our choice of what we want to do with the time we have and with who, no one should have control over our choices or our emotions. In the next year time when the world will not get better in any way, especially with all kinds of crises from economic to environmental, we must establish a support system to survive in a world that will fill with a large influx of challenges.
There’s never been a better time than NOW.
I've been working on mending the destructive mindsets I have about myself and what I can or cannot do, self-sabotage kills creativity. So I fought hard on the urge to stay in my comfort zone to cultivate the mental fortitude I need for I know I haven't yet reached that absolute maximum potential point that I can be. I have been unlearning a lot of concepts, ideas, and core beliefs about life; especially those self-sabotage ones that always work as hurdles against me instead of for me. I came to the realization that the only thing that was in my way is me. Who is this me anyway? Not the one pounding the keyboard typing this up now? So this Me is now talking about the me that has transformed into this Me? So which me is Me?
Mind-twisted.
Now that this Me is a little more equipped with the awareness of Self and optimal mindset to embark on this journey to join millions of us in this online age that share what we have to say about ourselves, life, and all there is in this vastness of the universe.

I am not here to offer you a solution to the best life but I’m here to share with you what I’ve learned so far on this journey and hopefully, we can share our experiences on this path together.
The center focus here will evolve around questions like, “Who plotted our life? Don't you sometimes feel like our own life is like a story?” and “How do we live through our one precious life to the maximum potential that was given and has been with us from the beginning?"
There seems to be a plot of how the story goes, the peak and the rising action to get to somewhere, the Hero the Villains, the Muse, the Mother, the God, the evil, the Wise Old Man and Woman who is our mentor and help us from our ordeals and guide us into the dark cave where we slay the bad-ass dragon and claim our precious boon. Who plotted all this?
My writing focuses on life– the world within and without. Essentially it's about the realm with our mind, our consciousness and unconscious, and the development of our psyche on the path to living a meaningful and blissful life at our fullest potential. Becoming the best human being we can, and are supposed to be in this precious life is an indefinitely ongoing objective. These are reflections on my own life events and memories, my personal experiences I learned to be useful and even rewarding, it may not be the same benefit for everyone just bear that in mind.
The content will structure within this subject area;
· Existentialism. What’s the point of life anyway? And, “Who are we?”
· Depth Psychology. Exploring relationships between the conscious and the unconscious; the known and unknown Self of us, the ego and the persona all that fun stuff because all we know about ourselves is not all that we are.
· Humanistic Psychology. So, what makes us truly unique? How do we cultivate more clarity in our self-awareness to the integration of our body and mind, what makes us whole and content? How to transcend the meaning of life to find and reach that pinnacle of life being the best human we can be?
· Philosophy. Sort of like, how to live a good life and navigate through it when in the face of adversity, and what we need to understand and practice. This will cover anything from the Stoic philosophy to the ancient teaching from the East mostly Chinese and Indian.
· Spirituality. Not dipping directly into a religious field, just a pure and simple concept of Buddhism teaching that I believe to be true and useful to navigate through life. I will reflect on the teachings, the stories told, and my thoughts on Vipassana meditation journey I’ve been practicing since my 20s, which I think seamlessly synchronizes with the field of psychology and philosophy in the most fascinating way.
· Most things you’ve already seen, known, and practiced if you've been traveling in the world of personal growth field. Topics like productivity, self-management system, communications, relationships, mental health, self-care, etc.
· Excerpts and my reflections on the books, articles I read, and other platforms like podcasts and YouTube channels that I find inspiring and insightful on the above subjects. This will include some of the current affairs that catch my intention in the current week.
· Life lessons. My personal experience, memories, and reflections in a form of a journal entry. These journal pages are mostly thoughts on how these experiences shaped the person I’ve become and I genuinely find them to be so useful. My life is a personal story to me, it was written by me and for me. Every one of us writes our stories differently but I hope in some small way that my thought journey will benefit some of you who might be wandering on the same path as I did (and still are).
· Places I’ve been and the world I’ve seen. Not a travel blog, just those places that I was in and it evoked some kind of fascinating experiences, passionate feelings, unforgettable memories, nostalgia, hopeful thoughts, despair, or even melancholy.
Here are some of the top inspired thinkers and teachers who I encounter along the way (but have never met in person) that have helped show me, and light me the way to realize the above path of learning.
